Use toe amputations for weight loss??!?
OK I have heard of this on Weight Watchers message boards...
Apparently people are getting all their toes amputated in order to reach goal weight??
Supposedly you lose 3 lb. from the initial loss, then 5 lbs. per week for three weeks due to loss of blood flow and muscle tissue building.
18 lbs.
So basically I am willing to do this, but only if it will actually cause loss of 18 lbs. that will STAY OFF!!!
My friend Callie in NYC got this done a month ago and she said she is looking/feeling great. Some doctors will do this; others must do this themselves - heated blades are supposed to work the best for pain issues.
My question is has anyone done this / would anyone be willing to do this and blog/message about the experience?
I am into it, have heard nothing bad about it so far -- apparently balance issues are quickly recovered.
