Hula Exercise Sports
Please! I really need to shift this weight!?
Ok, I am 14 years old and weigh 12 stone, I measured my belly while relaxing and it was 36.25 inches. I have been hung up on my weight for about four years now and I really need something. Ok so, here are the facts, I don't eat: sweets, (one packet on a friday) crisps, alcohol, pop, fruit juice, I drink diluted juice, and semi skimmed milk. I live in the UK. I'm not allowed to go on a diet, although I'd like to. I can't afford any sports lessons or anything like that. I don't have a bike, I hate running, I don't have a skipping rope, I have a dented hula hoop. I don't like strenuous exercise but as I can't afford lessons I have begun teaching myself yoga but I am not very confident that it will work. Does anyone have any tips, apart from starving myself? Does anyone know any weird ways of exercising or anything, please! I don't want to take any medication either. I'm really getting hung up about my weight! x
well the trick is you might not eat stuff that help people gain weight but, if you eat a lot of healthy food as well and you don't burn it off then it will be stored as fat.
What i think you should do is cut down the amount of food you eat, if you know much about calories then the trick is eating less calories than you burn in a day. For example if you take in 1500 kcal (calories) a day the but you burn 2000 calories in a day then the 500 kcal are going to be coming off. Realistically it is very hard to loose weight because lets say like riding doing aerobics for an hour can burn you around 500 calories, so you have to be really motivated and committed to exercise. however it can become fun and can make you feel confident alone even if you don't like it at the start. You should also try doing different exercise that way you wont get bored quickly, try to have fun so you could do fun exercises like bowling and trampoline or skating. Also my last piece of advice is to try not to do slow exercises because that builds muscles and can help you gain muscle mass, so try and do cardio exercises that increase your heart rate, you can find some on 'you tube'. 1 more thing is that starving your self actually helps you add on weight because when you miss meals your body thinks your starving it therefore, it uses the fat around it for energy then when you eat again it will take all that food in and store it as fat just incase you starve it again, it sounds nutts i know!! look it up oon the 2nd website below.
